This is another great WotC D&D Podcast.
Mike Mearl's often seems to be sand bagging while talking about his design work. I think he does this primarily because of the community in which he operates--everyone he talks to thinks that they understand the complexity and difficulty of game design; when in fact he and about three other people actually understand what he does. When he starts talking about Game Theory and the design of Addiction Models in which agents make decisions against their best interest and survival it becomes clear Mr Mearl is one of the few people on the planet qualified to design D&D.
