Enter the Doomvault! Dead in Thay--D&D Encounters S18 S3

Another fun week of D&D Encounters at Comic Quest with DM Alan.

Jack & I had dinner at home and drove down with plenty of time--the shop was very crowded with Magic players. We were able to snag the pole position table, but with three new players this week we may need to get more DM's and table started for next week.

DM Alan had some player hand out maps for this session & they were amazing!

The table was very crowded.

We did have some great mini's and DM Alan's continued use of paper constructed minis is fantastic!

The shop sells Skittles & we went through a bunch of them--we are using the 'new guy buys' rule which really worked out this week.

A beautiful Tuesday morning for some Magic before middle school!

Dylan, Preston, Andrew, and Liam were all there!

Cards were being played like crazy!

The kids are really getting much better at playing.

And the trade binders are going around and around a lot more often.

At this point Preston has all of the Theros cards but 10, I think.

And a fantastic Bruce Lee mat

Dylan missed Game Day because of a family trip, but he is still having fun playing his slivers!

Home made muffins went really fast!

We have all of the game day cards--all nine of the set--now we just need to figure out what to do with them!

For the Journey into Nyx Game Day this weekend Tuesday headed to Magic & Monsters for some Draft!

Sat down to pass around three packs. 

We got some great tokens

But no one really got that great of cards.

The boys did a lot better job building their decks.

I stated my first game with a very inauspicious start

And Liam ended me fairly quickly with his red white deck!

The other boys all had great matches!

Jack and I had a great Black mirror match!

Will did really well for his first draft

The shop was super cool--giving the boys all sorts of promo cards!

Very good time was had by all!
