Curse of Stahd Reading

Here is the Tarokka Deck reading from my table of Curse of Strahd at Mercenary Market.

Card One

This card tells of history. Knowledge of the ancient will help you better  understand your enemy. What you seek lies in a pile of treasure, beyond a set of amber doors.

Card Two

This card tells of a powerful force for good and protection, a holy symbol of great hope. The thing you seek lies with the dead, under mountains of gold coins.

Card Three

This is the card of power and strength. It tells of a weapon of vengeance: a sword of sunlight. Look for a fortress inside a fortress, in a place hidden behind fire.

Card Four

This card sheds light on one who will help you greatly in the battle against darkness. Look for a dusk elf living among the Vistani. He has suffered a great loss and is haunted by dark dreams. Help him, and he will help you in return.

Card Five

Your enemy is a creature of darkness, whose powers are beyond mortality. This card will lead you to him. He lurks in the depths of darkness, in the one place to which he must return.

CAJ Campaign

Cody & Josh have started playing D&D.

I have not yet come up with a name for this campaign & I am open for suggestions. Currently, they have a lair which was attacked by Wolves, they heard evil laughter, the were approached by a man with a plan for them to join the Lord's Alliance and go see the King for a quest, they were ambushed by Kobolds on their way to see the king.

While waiting in line to meet with the king they started a brawl in the line...

Cody is playing Talon a Gnome Illusionist and Josh is playing Hi a Dragonborn Warrior.

The game is going very well.

Cody got his first Critical Hit!

Magery of Lairt

We started a new campaign! Andrew is running the Magery of Liart from his house--which is basically a lot of long rows of garages

The campaign has a world with a lot of wonderful background--we started the first session as simple guards.

Skittles were in abundance--as was coffee!

The game was super fun.

Curse of Strahd--D&D Encounters S22 S6

Here I am preparing for the session by removing the map from the back of the Curse of Strahd hard cover.

Another fun week of D&D at Kingslayer Comics in Fountain Valley

The quantity and quality of snacks at the table is completely insane at this point.

The players are also starting to figure out their characters so that things move much more quickly at the table.

The cheese wax is used to create fantastic mini's including this amazing Unicorn--not the grape stem horn.

The players had a fairly easy night mostly traveling around Barovia.
