Storm King's Thunder--D&D Encounters S23 S14

Another great week of D&D Encounters at Alakazam Comics in Irvine. We had three (3!) new players this week; unfortunately, it was a fairly slow week of Fire Giant Fighting.

I have all the mini's which makes for a great table, but I likely need to do more preparation for the adventure--I am just basically going through the fight motions.

I am drinking a lot of coffee which keeps my energy up!

The table did look great this week!

And I did have plenty of room even for a large table.

Aether Revlot Prerelease at Dice House

Jack, Brian, & I went to Dice House for the Aether Revolt prerelease. It was a blast. I drafted very well:

and played some really great players.

This event reminded me that i need to play more magic.

Another fun night of D&D Encounters at Alakazam Comics.

The Sword Coast Collective had not meet in a while, so it was nice to get us all back together. We started the night with Starbucks + Fame Broiler--yes, the L is burned out so it is broiling F A M E!

Cody's character Stompy has been captured by orcs + he is very worried that he is not going to get him back!

My dice were ready for a night of high rolling hijinks.

And the back room of Alakazam still has plenty of room to 

spread out.

The game moved through three settings fairly quickly--the Orc Lair, the Oni Killing Ground, and the Fire Giant attack on Triboar.

Which is where we will pick up next week
