Wynmeth is voted off the Island! Elemental Evil--D&D Encounters S20 S4
Luckily we had something with which to whip our tears from our eyes
Then I tried to take a Pano photo inside the room
which I always seem to have a hard time getting started
and seems to stop and just take a regular picture cause I am doing something wrong
and then when I get it does not really look as awesome as I had hoped.
Our table did look fantastic
I had some great Gamescience dice to make up for the recently stolen D20

Here are the theives dice--not the high number of unmatching D6's--which is likely the sign of a deeper problem...is there a specific word for Dice Kleptomania

In any event, the other players all have these awesome Dice towers, so I made one from a Pringles container
I tore the bottom off of another tube to make an angled plane that would kick the die out

It worked great
Jack and then tried to design a logo for the Bull Rushers. Here is his design--which is pretty great
My design is Bull Horns on Getty Lee, which I think is a winning combination even if I did not capture it very well
The adventure was fantastic--with Six Very different PCs and players.
Our Trojan Horse wagon adventure to capture the bandits worked very well
but in the end, my PC--the great Deep Gnome Bard Sage Wynmeth was voted off the island Survivor Style...Great fun.

D&D Podcast ORGANIZED PLAY: ELEMENTAL EVIL review
Another fantastic Podcast featuring Shelly & Bart!
This one focused on something I am actually very interested in, so I may have loved it more than normal.
Chris Tulach and Chris Lindsay are awesome guests who not only provide a ton of great content & insight into the Adventure League, highlighting several of the upcoming changes, and are just generally awesome representatives of D&D.
The name of Demogorgon's heads (Aameul & Hethradiah) is discussed--but they do not resolve the eternal conflict of which is which in the below picture.
The Location of Tiamet's brains is reviewed--I had never actually thought about this--I had always assumed that each head operated kind of independently based on its nature & that she was the collection of those actions...but a central mind does make a lot more sense...I will work on this one...
I strongly recommend that you listen to this one.

THE ROLE OF LOCAL COORDINATORS IN THE D&D ADVENTURERS LEAGUE
Here is a good article on the role of a LC in the AL.
The basic break down is
The basic break down is
- Social Media
- Store Support
- Convention Support
- Supporting players, DMs, Organizers, & Store Owners
- Playing & DMing
and then there is a separate section on LC's not being the police and do not make the rules, which I really appreciate.
Extra Life Orange County Guild Meeting
Last night there was a Guild meeting at the Art Institute building right next to my work.
This was awesome not only because it was so close, but because I ran into Brian!
The meeting itself was good--the event is a long time off so a lot of the discussion is still around early planning, but it looks like this year will be even bigger than last year.
I have created the Tuesday page, but do not plan to get the boys started in their fund raising until Summer time.
The T-Shirt design contest has been extended.
The Pod-Cast is being updated.
There is a D&D Game being scheduled for Mike's house on 05/09/2015.
All in all, another great Guild meeting.
